Erase All Answer Messages

I follow the manual to erase all old answer messages but it still says the memory is full

Deleting all old messages1. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select Answer Machine. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- select DEL ALL OLD MSG. Press MENU to confirm
