To change the admin password on a Lexmark X748 printer, follow these steps:

Open a web browser and go to the printer's web interface. The default IP address for the Lexmark X748 is 192.168.1.100.

Enter the printer's username and password. The default username and password are both "admin".

Click on the Settings tab.

Click on the Security link.

Under the Admin Password section, enter the current admin password in the Old Password field.

Enter the new admin password in the New Password and Confirm Password fields.

Click on the Submit button.

The admin password will be changed and you will be logged out of the printer's web interface. To log back in, you will need to use the new admin password.

Here are some additional tips for changing the admin password on a Lexmark X748 printer:

Make sure that the new admin password is strong and secure. A strong password should be at least 8 characters long and include a mix of upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

Do not use easily guessed passwords, such as your name, birthday, or common words.

Change the admin password regularly, especially if the printer is used by multiple people.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
