How Do I Make A Video Recording Using My Webcam?

I can use my webcam for taking still pictures and for video calls using skype. I cannot figure out how to record a personal video using this camera.

DO YOU HAVE INSTALLED YOUCAM APPLICATION? IF NOT GOES TO LENOVO SITE AND INSTALL IT. THERE YOU WILL FIND THE RECORD MODE YOU NEED.
