L540 Thinkpad Won't Stay Connected To Verizon Mifi Very Long? Dell Did Fine!

Getting very frustrated with being dropped every 5 to 10 minutes, the antique DELL rarely did!!

If you are using an Access Connections profile to connect to the MiFi device, make sure that the Advanced Configuration setting (on the second screen of the profile) is set to Maximum Performance (in fact its good idea to check all your profiles and make sure its set to Maximum Performance).
