Interior Arching Lg Lmv1813st Without Metal

We have had three interior related incidents within the last three to four weeks regarding arching. It seems to be occuring in the bottom left hand corner WITHOUT the presence of any type of metal related object. There is slight damage to the interior (bare metal) which concerns me. This is not our first microwave and we have never had any issues prvious. Primary use of the microwave is reheating, popcorn and the occasional cooking of vegetables. Our previous over-the-range-microwave was an Electrolux Gallery Series which had no issues in our six/seven years of worry free operation. We only replaced it to match the LG refrigerator purchased. Has anyone had any issues regarding arching without the presence of metal (aluminum, cutlery, etc) in the microwave, specific to this model? I am going to speak to the storee where we ourchased this to find out if there is anything we can do.
