47lg70 Menu Issues
my tv picture and sound works ok. However the menu and input menu come on by themselves. Sometimes it changes the input by itself. I can no longer change the volume or have the ability to use the remote to change the input. suggestions?

We had the same problem. The capacitive touch buttons on the right side of the TV stopped working and were acting as though someone was randomly touching them (the TV would sound beeps without anyone using the buttons or perform the wrong action if we did touch one). We don't ever use the buttons themselves, just the remote. They broke mysteriously.
Fortunately, they are controlled by a sub-board that can be unplugged without affecting the rest of the TV's functions. If you have a phillips screwdriver, take the back off of your TV and unplug the buttons.
I've attached a picture of the header to unplug. Good luck!
