The Battery Door Will Not Stay Closed.

The battery door seems to be ok but all three plastic pockets that the three metal tabs on the door slide into are broke off. It appears that this is part of the front cover and not part of the bottom cover. I found a replacement part on e-bay but is there a guide on how to replace this part? I tried to attach pictures but was not accepted because they were too large.

It can be replaced. Here is a guide for removing the bottom panel and the battery door: Kodak Easyshare Z981 Bottom Panel Replacement

I've not been able to locate a replacement batter door. I would keep an eye out on eBay, as they have lots of EasyShare battery doors - just not the Z981 at this time.
