Can You Print Text In Black Ink When The Color Ink Cartridge Reads Empty?
Can you print text in BLACK INK when the COLOR INK cartridge reads empty? I almost never print color pics on my printer, and select the BLK & WH option for printing. I absolutely HATE this printer when it stops in the middle of a job, indicating the color cartridge is empty and I can NOT finish printing (BLACK TEXT!!)

According to Kodak support website, you can setup your printer to print in black and white only mode. Just follow the steps provided below:
- From your computer, select Start > Settings > Printers and Faxes.
- Right-click the name of your printer.
- Select Printing Preferences.
- Select the Advanced tab, then under the Color printing section, select Print Colors as Black and White.
- Click OK.
