Kw-m560bt Frozen Touchscreen Problems
My KW-M560bt Car Stereo has this problem with its touchscreen where if you touch the top row of the screen, nothing happens; for example, if you wanted to go "Back" by pressing on the "Back" button, it would not go back and be unresponsive. The whole rest of the screen works, but just not the top row of the screen. How do I fix this issue with my KW-M560bt?

Firstly take off the display unit if it is removable. Clean the contacts that connect the display to the base module with an alcohol based cleaner, be careful not to get any on the plastics. This is available from pharmacies etc in small bottles for home use. Refit the unit and then try a reset. Refer to page 4 of the guide and you will see a small hole to the left of the unit. That is the reset button. It will reset your stations so it will need retuning afterwards but can solve a large amount of issues. Remove any USB devices from the unit before resetting as the data on the stick will be damaged.
