Can I Transfer Video From My Jvc Gz-mg 21u Camera To My Macbook Pro 10.7.5?
I want to transfer video from my JVC GZ-MG 21U camera to my MacBook Pro 10.7.5 for the purpose of burning a DVD that can be viewed on a standard DVD player. I don't think the software that came with the camera is compatible with Mac OS 10.7.5. Can I transfer video without that software and then burn a DVD using iMovie? Is there a software update that will work with both my camera and my computer?

Save your video in an SD card instead of hooking the camera to your mac if it doesn't work. The camera shoots video in MPEG format which I believe macs can support. Just put the SD card in the mac and you will be able to burn it into a dvd.
