Blue Bulb Not On

Pulled back off Hitachi 51f500 and found blue bulb not working. Could there be another problem other than the bulb being burnt out. The set is 13yrs. old, if is the bulb would it be worth putting money into. THANK YOU for your time.

If the bulb is out & the others are working then you will have to look for a new tv.
