Why Does The Z820 Need A 2nd Cpu To Be Able To Use Pcie Slot #4?

Hi, without taking this computer apart it would be hard to say exactly, but the most likely reason is that the fourth PCIe slot runs off a bus that would be connected to the second CPU, so if there is not a second CPU that bus is severed from the rest of the motherboard and unable to be utilized.
