Touchpad Is Disabled
I have a hp mini 2140, and the touchpad is disabled. When i press ( also double tapping doesn't help) the on/off button for the touchpad ,it doesn't respond (the light doesn't turn on/off). But when i shutdown my computer by holding the power switch for a few seconds and then turn my computer back on, the button lights up for a second. When i check my hardware (with a program called everest) it says that there is a touchpad connected and that it is working fine, which it isn't.
I'm currently running windows xp and i have the lastest drivers installed for the touchpad.
