If you want to scan documents in your phone, you can take help of several scanning apps like microsoft office lens etc available in playstore.
Ifyou want to scan in a HP printer:
Load the document or photo you want to scan. Click Advanced Scan, and then click Image Scanning or Document Scanning. Adjust any scan settings, and then click Scan. Under File Format, click the drop-down list, and then select the desired format, such as JPEG or PDF.
