Boot From Flash Drive

any help is appreciated! I can't seem to get this motherboard ep45-ud3l to boot from a flash drive. I set the bios to boot from the specific flash drive and enabled legacy mode. I also set usb-hdd as the 1st boot device. It just boots to my multi os menu like normal. It's almost like it doesn't recognize there's a flash drive there but that can't be the case because it shows up in the bios menu. Thanks

In your BIOS under boot device, there's

>>Highligh this very first option at the top and click enter<<

1 first boot

2 second boot << set to hard disk

The very first option when you have pendrive plugged in takes you to more boot option, set to

1USB

2Hard Disk

in that order.

your pen drive must b formatted correctly,

linux and windows both have different file systems for pen drive.

now when boot hit f12 for boot list and select HARD DISK

this give you option to select your pen drive usb
