Genie Silentmax 1000 Revolution Series Manual

I have the genie silent max 1000 revolution series. It's installed amd working fine but 2 minor problems. 1. The light goes on when the door opens, but after the timer kicks off, it is not triggering to go back on when I walk in door entrance while door is up. 2. The sensors on bottom of each side...1 is green and 1 is red. Is that right or should both be green? If so, how do I get both to green? Thanks! Shelia

Yes that is correct, 1 green & 1 red. I have a genie not your exact model, the light turns off after a set time. Walking through the safety beam only breaks the circuit if it is interrupted while closing. It has nothing to do with turning the light on/off.
