Too Much Grease On Genie Screwdrive. Won't Work In Cold Weather. What Can I Do?
I have too much grease on the worm of my Genie Screwdrive. In cold weather, I have to turn the up force and the down force to the max position to get itt to work. What can I do?

The grease is solidifying with really cold temps. If you can remove the excess grease that would be the first step. If not, sparingly spray a little wd-40 on the screw nearest the motor housing. spray too much & you'll have a mess. There's a low temp lubricant that you should probably use if you can remove the old grease.
