The Light On My 1200 Keeps Coming On By Itself, Why?

Why does the light on my powermax 1200 periodically keep coming on by itself?

Your Power Max 1200 has what they call

Motion detection lighting

So the light will come on when detected any motion around the opener in the garage.

For safety.

I don't see any way to turn that feature off.
