Why Does My Laptop Overheat. Ref Gateway Mx6920

Laptop overheats. It seems to crash when underside gets hot, also the power tends to be pretty hot to. Any advice.

Make sure the vents aren't blocked when you're using it, as this will make the underside heat up faster. You can also buy fans that plug into a USB port and sit underneath your laptop if it's hard to hold it in a way that doesn't block the vents.
