Fan On And Computer Won't Run

My computer power light is on ,the fan is on but nothing come on the moniter,and it will not boot. What could be the problem?

There are several possible reasons why your computer does not run yet the fan is turned on. Some of these are the following:

1. Motherboard

2. Power Supply

3. Operating System

4. Hard Disk

Since we cannot determine the exact problem, I suggest that you bring the laptop to the nearest service/repair center in your are for proper diagnosis.

Old thread I know, But for someone else that might have the same problem. Remove the graphics card and use the internal graphics card and that should be the problem. That's what was wrong with my pc that was given to me because of the same issues. If it works, then you know graphics card is bad.
