Cpu Upgrade

Greetings Hope your doing good I have the Foxconn H61mx v2.0 MB its been running nicely with intel core i5 2300 so Recently i upgraded cpu to ivy bridge i5 3330, Machine does not boot with new cpu, Now the Question is " Is there a compatibility issue between the board and cpu .. seeing that the Cpu is Rev 3 and the mb 2.0 ? " If so is there a way i can do a Bios upgrade i can do or something to fix that thank you in Advance
