Cannot Scan:

I'm trying to scan but get the message...."comunication error, check to see if printer is connected to comp"....which it is. My usb goes from my comp. to the printer. Making copies iworks great so I know the connection is there. What could be wrong.....

You can troubleshoot the scanning issue on your Epson model by following the steps here

If, the above epson link does not resolve your issue you may need to update the driver/software for your device, or uninstall and reinstall the drivers for your device
