Print Head Problem

I have had this 725W for a few years. Since I put in 2 different color cartridges that were After Market, my printer runs 2x each time I turn it on - aligning the print head. So I purchased new Dell color cartridges and it still aligns the print head 2x Looking for help

You may remove the printhead from printer and clean the printhead and contact points with a lint free cloth. Once done, reseat the printhead and see if the issue persists. Check for latch on print head is pushed down. You may find detailed steps on reseating printhead from the link: http://bit.ly/11xOEnu

If the issue persists, you may perform a printer reset.

Note: Printer reset will reset the printer to default settings and incase there are any fax or printer customized settings, they will be deleted.

Steps to perform printer reset:

Navigate to: Setup-> OK-> Restore Factory Defaults-> OK
Press the up or down arrow key to scroll to Restore All Printer Settings, and then press OK
