Is There A Loose P5 Connector On A Optiplex 755 Sff Desktop?
I've replaced the hard drive three times on a Dell Optiplex 755 sff desktop. It would get hot and freeze up or go to a blue screen of death. I noticed this time when I put the hard drive in there was a loose P5 wire. I'm not sure if it was ever connected. I can't find where it would connect to. I found a lot of dust in the heatsink and its fan to where it would block at least 25% of airflow. I'm running it with a house fan on it for now with no problems.
