How Migrate Dell Power Edge 2950 Red Hat Linux Server To Window Server 2008 R2

My dell power edge 2950 was intalled red hat linux i have tried to migrate from linux to windows server 2008 r2 what will be the procedure? to do so I directly entered windows server dvd and intalled but after shutdown when i again start computer it say booting possiton as "PCIe degraded link width error: embedded I/O bridge device 18 expected link width is x8, actual link width is x4 system halted" now what can I do. It neither enter boot menu nor proceed after booting ctr+E state it says previous message.

You can use the System Build Update Utility (SBUU) to assist with the installation of Windows Server 2008 R2. You would need to download and burn to a disk. Then you would boot to the SBUU, choose the OS installation option and complete the wizard choosing the options that are best for your environment. This process allows you to set up your RAID and provides the needed drivers for proper installation. At the end the server will ask you to remove the SBUU and it will reboot to the Windows portion of the installation.

You can also hit Control + R when prompted during POST of the server to manual manage the RAID controller. From there you can delete the current RAID and then set up again and initialize the RAID to get a fresh start on the drives.
