How To Reset Message Center On 2002 Impala

The message center cannot be reset. If it detects errors, it will illuminate and stay on the screen for 60 seconds (infinite if it's the SECURITY message), as well as stay on for 5 seconds when you turn the ignition off. The best way to fix them is if you do as it says and fix it. For instance, LOW ENG OIL means that the engine is low on oil and you need to fill it, SERVICE TRACTION SYSTEM means that the traction system is not working properly and you need to send it to service.
