How Do I Oil My Brother Pacesetter Pc-3000 Sewing Machine

my sewing machine is not working properly.  I can't change the default sewing stitch.  While I am using the machine I can change stitches at will.  When I turn off the machine and turn it back on it reverts to the original stitch.  I forget that it changes and start to stitch and the needle breaks because it is the wrong stitch for the presser foot used.

Unfortunately that means that your panel keyboard (part # XA4331001) is going. Soon you wont be able to stitch anything but straight stitch. Even worse news is that Brother stopped making that part a little less than a year ago.
