Compac Laptop Changed From Windows 7 To Windows 8 Brother Printermfc-j265w.

since change pushing scanner button does nothing but if i go to control panel it will work

Since you have changed your laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 8, you also need to update the driver software installed for your Brother MFC-J265w printer. You need to install the Windows 8 driver software from the software CD or download it online. Here's the link to the download page of the driver software.
