Installed New Netgear Wireless Router And Cannot Connect The Printer.

I installed a new Netgear wireless router and cannot connect the printer. I added the SSID and Password using the menu on the printer, and the display shows the wifi is active. On my Windows7 laptop however I cannot get the printer online. I can't even print when connected via USB. there is no ethernet port on the printer. I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest software and driver. I rebooted the router. I'm stuck and need to print!

Even if you have already connected the device it will not work without the driver software installed. Please install the compatible driver software for Brother MFC490CW. Use the software CD or download the driver files online. Here's the link to the download page:
