Why Does Radio Work With Key Out Of Ignition?

installed radio correctly. Am not using RCA's or camera at this time so besides antenna the main harness is only wires being used. Connected accordingly and works fine but when key is out radio continues to stay on. Could red and yellow wires be hooked up wrong in the stereo?
