Testing Before Install And I'm No Pro But I'm Not Dumb Either.
I got the Boss 9755 2 din touchscreen today I have the interface and diagrams and manuals all read and once it was delivered I unboxed. Removed the metal sleeve with the keys grabbed the wires and unit and headed to the garage. I simply took the 12v stand alone extra car battery that I use for running test connected the negative to the black ground and taped and then the Positive to the yellow constant and taped. Expecting the unit to power in when I pushed the power button. Nothing happened why? I multimetered the battery and plug both are getting 12volts. I also tested the plug in the back and each pin was showing they were working. So why doesn't the unit power on with the constant and ground wired to a 12v battery?
