Hi. What you are to do in essense is to make an EEMPROM file dump using r24rf08.exe - that file will contain your lost passcode. Alternatively, you will need to turn it in for service.

To enter the password recall procedure: Press and hold 4 for 5 seconds. The projector will display a coded number on the screen. Seek help from the local BenQ service center to decode the number. You may be required to provide proof of purchase documentation to verify that you are an authorized user of the projector.

To change the password:

1. Open the on-screen menu and go to Setting > Change Password...

2. Press 3 or 4. A "Change Password" message displays...

3. Enter the old password. i. If the password is correct, you can go on to enter new password
