Why I can not connect my laptop with television?

Before you can connect your Asus X54L to your Television unit, you have to make sure that both of these devices have at least one HDMI port. You also need an HDMI cable for the connection between the 2 devices. Unfortunately, it is not really possible to connect these devices if one is not capable of HDMI feature.

What you will have to do is connect your HDMI from your computer to your TV. After you have everything connected. Look for a button on your remote for the TV that says source or input. Toggle until it says HDMI and you should see a image on your TV.
