Laptop Will Not Charge Up.

My wife's ASUSX53Z was purchased in Dec 2012. We recently went on holiday and it was not used for about three weeks. When we tried to use it, it was 'dead' and when we tried to 're-charge' it, it still remained 'dead'. No matter what, and how we tried, it just will not 'charge up'! Any suggestions??

It sounds like you may need a new charger/battery. You can find a replacement through our PartStore.com website here:

https://partstore.com/Model/AsusTeK+Computer+Inc/Asus/X53Z.aspx?SearchTerm=True

Part: AC-C10 at $29.99.

Alternatively, you can seek service repair. Depending on what the issue is and whether you have coverage or not, you might be responsible for repair costs.

I hope this helps!
