Power To The Mobo, Wont Turn On

the motherboard has a small green light that turns on when the psu is turned on but when i press the button to turn it on nothing happens

hello sir !

it is most likely due to the blow up of the main fuse in the system (capacitor) if you manage to change the defective fuse then the device will be functional again. but if you fial to identiy the blown up fuse then is is best recomended that you replace the entire unit.

The MOBO may be faulty, but I would either have a service technician take a look or better yet, speak to Asus regarding your issue, so that they can troubleshoot it with you. They are very courteous, efficient and effective resolving issues.
