According to the information provided by the support website of Asus, Asus A6G has 2 sockets for the memory expansion. The maximum capacity of RAM that you can upgrade is up to 1 Gigabyte. This means that you can either put a single 1 Gigabyte RAM card or 2 512 RAM cards. Remember that this machine accepts PC2700 DDR SDRAM SODIMMs type of RAM cards.
