Ping Noise After A New Cpu Fan Is Put In

What would cause a pinging noise after a new cpu fan is put in. I thought it was the fan but it still makes a pinging noise like metal hitting something

There can be some loose wires which were badly connected after the installation of the CPU Fan. I suggest that do not insist in using the device as it can cause hardware failure. Open your computer and check for the cables if fixed.
