Network Adaptor Cable

Upon startup I can't get internet connection. I keep getting a message network adaptor cable not plugged in. If I disconnect the computer completely, and restart it, no problem it will connect to the internet. I have changed the cable once, and it corrected itself, but the problem has reappeared. I have windows update on automatic, and seem to have no problem with updates, still utilizing windows 8, i.e. have not upgraded to 9.

For that first uninstall driver from control ponel->program and features and device manager then reinstall network driver you can get driver from computer manufecturer web sites then install it.Also check another end of cable connected means other side like router or switch where your computer connected change RJ 45 jack on other side then check also change port on router or switch.

If still same issue then may be your lan port on mohterboard of computer is faulty.

Let me know if you need further assistance.
