Linux Mint 18 Drivers
It appears that when I install uniden udr 444 usb drivers on linux munt 18 that it works. But when I try to view thru skype it says no cameras found. I have tried various ways. Yes I even tried installing thru wine. where can I get drivers for linux mint 18 sarah 64bit mate edition??? I was able to setup and view on win xp. But the operating system just so buggy I dumped it for linux. Which I love if I can get the cameras to work again.

Installing multimedia codecs offlineTo download the multimedia codecs into an installable archive:
- Boot from the Linux Mint ISO on a computer which is connected to the Internet
- Open a terminal and type "apt download mint-meta-codecs" (without the quotes)
- This creates a "mint-meta-codecs.tgz" archive
On computers which do not have an Internet access, you can decompress this archive and run ./install.sh (or alternatively "sudo dpkg -i *.deb") to install the multimedia codecs.
Booting with non-PAE CPUsTo boot Linux Mint 18 on CPU which do not officially support PAE (Pentium M processors for instance), please use the "Start Linux Mint with PAE forced" option from the boot menu.
