You must take the following general actions in order to connect to a Wi-Fi network:

Access the Wi-Fi settings: Navigate to the device's settings menu. The position of the Wi-Fi settings can change depending on the device you're using (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.). Usually, the network or connection settings menu is where you'll find the Wi-Fi options.

Toggle the Wi-Fi switch to turn on the network if it isn't already turned on. This enables your device to look for Wi-Fi networks that are available.

After you select a network, a list of available Wi-Fi networks will appear on your device. From the list, select the network you wish to connect to. SSIDs, or network names, are typically used to list networks.

Enter Password (if required): In the event that the network is secured, connecting will need entering the password. Enter the network password that you have chosen. Passwords are case-sensitive, so make sure you enter it correctly.
