Sync Problem

I cannot get my computer to sync with the projector. There is no output from the computer to the projector.  I have it in RGM mode.  The projetor is a Toshiba TLP650 and my laptop Dell Inspiron 6000.  It has syned previously but has not the last 3 times that I tried it.  I turn the projector on first and then the computer.
