My Satellite Has Been Taken Over By Trust-installer

It will not let me open any downloads or make changes to anything PERIOD. I have even tried to start pressing 0 and it still won't let me make changes. I am sharing wi-fi could that be the issue? I do not have my recovery disc either. This is getting frustrating please give me some advice. Thank you...Keri

With this model, the recovery starts with the f12 button option- read and digest the pages 56 and 58 of your manual from helpowl's data base

http://www.manualowl.com/m/Toshiba/Satellite-P845-S4200/Manual/290197?page=23

You can try the out of box to factory recovery, or, the factory default with users data..

If it misses the cue on f12, to go to hdd recovery, then shut down, then start up with the f12 button held down (even tapping the f12 sometimes helps to force the boot .

Good luck-

Greetings - Tapping f8 repeatedly just before Windows attempts to load may present you with the Advanced Boot Menu - amongst which menu is Safe Mode which may let you access Windows and hopefully be able to uninstall possible troubling apps. Alternatively, you can follow the link below for directions on how you can try and restore your system to factory settings without the disc (the links under Restore).

Hope that is helpful.
