My 5 Months Old Laptop Toshiba Satellite P745 Is Switching Off Without Warning.

As you have only had this 5 months, I would get in touch with the shop you purchased it from. New laptops generally have 12 months Warrenty.

This is also, often a sign that there is a bit of a blockage , causing overheating. If you use it a lot on the carpet/bed, or, you have cats in the house, it is surprising how quickly this can happen. The easy way to check and clear some is to use a compressed can of air (about £6 from most pc shops )

.I only recommend the aerosol technique, unless dismantling and cleaningout from inside. For that you need a service manual to know where the fan, and filter sccess is, and which panwels to take off- not really a job for a novice, but .... There is often a wad of stuff in there as in the video.
