Tp Link Tl-mr3420
Hi Guys,I just bought over this new modem TP-Link TL_MR3420. I tried to set it up so i can have internet connection, the usual ways i'd do for the old modem D-Link.When i create a new wireless network, select the broadband type PPOe then after that ticked WAN as the preferred network (the 4th options) laid down combination of keys (password to the wifi) and then it did broadcast the network name. When i connect, i insert the password and everything but the prob is i dont have internet access. Tried a couple of times and still it didnt work.If i connect the phone cable directly to D-Link and then re-configured everything, i'd get my wireless network up and internet connection. But when i plugged in the phone cable onto the new TP-Link modem, it just dont work after the settings are all done (means im not pairing it with any other devices, just the TP-Link alone with cable phone *and i did try using LAN cable and still to no avail)Could you help? if you think the above situation is unclear, it would be helpful if you could provide me a step by step instructions (for TP-Link MR3420) on how do i establish a network that will have internet access (Streamyx) and it has password if you wish to connect to it.Pictorial instruction will be very much welcome, otherwise narration on how to get it done will be sufficient. Whichever, i'd appreciate the assistance.Your promptly reply is very much appreciated.Thanks.
