Sony Ev1 D90 Ptz Camara

My camara stopped working and smells like burn, just bought in November ,2015 any suggestion?

Most of the time when a new camera cannot be turned on it is simply because the battery is completely discharged. This is normally because of the length of time it has been in the box from the last time it was charged at the factory. So, be sure that the battery is fully charged before using the camera for the first time.

IMPORTANT:

Make sure there is nothing covering the battery contacts when charging.
Make sure the battery is securely connected to the camera or battery charger.
Make sure the battery is inserted in the proper position. On a few camera models it can be inserted the wrong way by mistake.

If the camera still does not turn on, then the battery or charger may need replaced, or the camera may require service' return the camera back to the store for exhange or service.
