Sanyo Dp42849 Chasis 09 Not Working Power Light Comes On And Off No Tv

ive replace the power board from shop jimmy and returned it because it didnt turn the tv on

the thing that must be determined is whether the "main board" is telling the "inverter board" to come "on" or not. If the "on" signal is there then the "inverter" is bad, if it's not then it's likely the "main".

On the plug going from the "power supply board" to the "inverter board" you will have the first 4 or 5 pins with +24vdc, the next 4 or 5 will be ground (0vdc) and then the next several pins will be the inverter "on/off", "back light brightness", and probably an "error detection" that goes through the power board directly back to the "main board". If you find 3-5vdc on a couple of these pins when it's trying to turn on and the panel doesn't glow from the back lights in the panel, then the "inverter board" is bad: http://www.shopjimmy.com/lg-6632l-0520a-backlight-inverter.htm
