Have There Been Any Problems With This New Unit?
I am considering the Samsung T23A550 and the T23A350 to be used as a DVD monitor on my boat. I know the 550 is backlighted LED and the 350 is endge lighted. The reviews on the 350 are pretty good, but I cannot find any on the 550.

I have T24a550. Well the monitor is great (for a TN panel). Howver, I recently found a stain on the right corner of the screen, which unfortuately appears to be common among that particular model. See here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZxVj-vnx5Q&feature=related
I don't know whether this would be an issue for T23a550, but I would take that into consideration before purchasing it. Mind that the problem is mostly visible under a white background and it is very hard to notice when watching TV.
