Tv Turns Itself Off 3 Or 5 Times Before It Stays On

TV WHEN TURNED ON IT WILL TURN ITSELF OFF 3 OR 5 TIMES BEFORE IT WILL STAY ON.

The mercury vapor lamp will show it's age by acting like this before the lamp will fail to stay on or never light up.
