How Do I Change The Settings From 540 To 1080dp?? Picture Too Large For The Scre
My TV is displaying at 504 DP but it should be 1080. This causes the picture to be too large for the tv screen, we are missing the edges. we have it in 16.9 setting and all settings are too large, but once in a while we see 540DP in the upper left of the screen, not sure what we have done whe we see this.
I have lost my manual and need to know how to set this back to 1080 so we can see the pictures right

the output picture is set to 1080p always. What this set does is to take what ever you put into it and convert it to match the DLP chip. If you put in a lower resolution picture, then through the digital conversion circuits in this TV, the signal is evaluated and additional video signals are made up to try to bring up the resolution to match the 1080p format of the chip. That's why analog TV looks so bad and has all those weird pixels and errors in the picture (these are called artifacts).
the aspect input is not supported and this is probably causing the zoomed picture. What are you using as a source. This is where the problem likely exists
one more thing, the OSD that pops up is telling you the input resolution, not what the TV is showing.
