What Does Using Handset Mean Aficio Mp 201spf

Hi, if you are getting the "Using Handset" or "Handset In Use" message on the screen, that means there is a phone off the hook for that line. If you are positive there is no phone off the hook, and the fax machine is not communicating, you may have a problem with your phone line.
